Bar Boulud, London
The casual restaurant of Daniel Boulud in Knightsbridge, just across the street from Harrods, in Hotel Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. This is the sister restaurant to the outpost in New York, where Boulud has also his flagship 3 Michelin starred Relais & Chateau one, called simply Daniel.
The executive chef is Dean Yasharian, an American, french trained chef that previously worked in Bar Boulud NY and in Daniel.

We went there for the burgers.
NY grilled beef burgers
Frenchie
beef patty, confit pork belly, rocket, dijon, tomato compote, morbier cheese, peppered bun, at 14 pounds
Piggie
beef patty, bbq pulled pork, green chili mayonnaise, bibb lettuce, red cabbage slaw, cheddar bun, also at 14 pounds.
For both burgers we chose pommes frites as side dishes at 5 pounds each. Other options include pommes Lyonnaise, truffle mashed potato, spinach mushrooms and others.

As for the burgers I would suggest this place for a visit, as the service is very good, the setting pretty relaxed and the quality of the ingredients top notch. The patty was nice and cooked as ordered( don't ask for well done), and the french fries hand cut(!), although the bun was not as freshly made as it should be. There is a good wine list too. But, in London you can find many excellent burgers for one third of the price like Patty & Bun, Dip n flip, Honest Burgers etc.
